ok so my buddy at the cigar shop gave me a Natural Dirt to try. i have read quite a bit about these little suckers so i accepted his little gift. and little it is, thsi is one small cigar.

GOOD: pleasing smell to all others around you, in fact it smells mor like a pipe that a stick. it strated off with a toated maple syrup flavor, than about half way through got to more of a cofee bean flavor, finished with slight spicyness and a bit of a cherry flavor.

BAD; the draw SUCKS. i gave this little guy a pretty good cut but could not get a decent draw out of it, and i like ALOT of smoke when i smoke a cigar. was almost a little too sweet, i like a cigar to taste well like a cigar, not a pipe. the taste was in my opinion flat, needs to be a bit more complex.

ok so theres my review of it. i know theres alot of bad press about these little sticks, BUT dont let the media or a buddy tell you what to smoke. who knows you might like one of these. not the greatest cigar in the world but a very differnt flavor for me. think ill keep one of these in the humidor for when i go out with my fiancees friends that dont care for the smell of a cigar, or for a buddy fo mine that visits that really likes pipes. but than agaid this is a good stick to keep around if im in a 'sweet" mood.

happy smoking!

....Decided to try the Drew Estates Natural Dirt this a.m. just after coffee and bagels. Not a bad smoke. The dark wrapper color is deceptive as I expected a stronger smoke. The taste was unmistakably sweet and left an almost sugary residue on the lips. Reminded me of a "dressed up" swisher. Smoked fast but well, with a consistent burn and easy draw. Left a bit of an aftertaste that I have not experienced in a while however. Looking forward to the others. Thanks for the sample Rik.
