"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points."

Looks like a great deal. What cigar(s) would you compare this one to in terms of flavor profile?

Hmm. tough to say. It is medium strength, full bodied. Nuts, cedar, spice and tobacco flavor. hey I'm no James Suckling, but this is a very well constructed quality cigar.

I picked up this special and smoked on today. What is up with the minty like flavor I taste? Seems to be prevalent throughout most of the cigar. Hope it disappears on future sticks.
