I finally smoked the cg:4 I picked up 6 weeks or so ago from the local B&M...been so busy i've been lucky to sneak in 1 or 2 smokes a week. I really enjoyed it...I would put my taste impression right where Dion said a few posts up...earthy sweetness. Very, very good cigar no doubt.
I have heard some of you mention that they do lose a little bit of their punch with age, so next time i'll have to smoke it right away.

Yeah I called Dan about that, and he said he is not doing boxes, just line samplers. Leaf and Ale promised to get them last week on their website, but no news there either...

Dan is killing us....first he puts up a notice that they will be ready for sale the week of 10/27, and now he's put up pictures of the boxes, but no sale point line samplers yet. Man, is he ever drawing this thing out !!!

Finally found these being sold around my hood. Picked up an 888 and plan on workin my way through the line. He also has the cruzado so guess I"ll have to work through those too. Too bad its freaking freezing outside and KY has that stupid no smoking inside rule. Tough to find a time to smoke something as big as the 888.
I'm curious if that is truly his belief. It's based on the end of the Mayan calendar...December 24, 2012. I really have no personal opinion on the subject.

I thought it had something to do with the Mayan calendar, but wasn't sure.

For all I know, it's probably just another Y2K type hive mentality scenario - I'm not concerned. BTW, LOVE that article Stogie Fresh did! Total goof. Answering questions with predictable, boring answers just wasn't what I wanted to do. There's enough of those interviews out there already.
Cool. Whether it was meant literally, figuratively, or as a goof it seems to be often quoted...adds a touch of mystique! Funny how some take it and run It is an interesting concept...what if???
Props on Illusione. Thanx for being accessible.
