Dion, thank you so much for the lightning fast reply. I can not even tell you how great your cigars are, then again you hear that everyday. I'll keep me eyes posted on my sources.

Having smoked just about all of the Illusiones except the biggest ones (not my favorite sizes) not including the Holy Lance which is one of my favorite non-cubans, a friend gifted me some "eccjs" over the weekend. Has anyone had one and how to they compare to the regular line? Also, Dion if possible, can you describe how the Cruzados differ from the Illusiones in flavor profile? TIA

Leaf and Ale just posted that they would have them in store this week... I'm assuming that would also mean they would be available online. Anyone interested in a box split style deal should go check out Jinx's "I have an idea" thread in the trading forum.

Tonito, there are some tasting notes and comments on the ECCJ in this thread and in the 90+ pass by ldfkr14.
Lets just say I am happy to stil have a box+ of them and plan on letting them sleep. Not because they are not great now, because I believe they will evolve to be a desired smoke years to come.
Sorry to take up more bandwidth, but in reading over this thread, I see several people have been experiencing the same thing I did, that being not getting a lot of flavor out of the Illusiones. I've had just about all except the larger sizes, and when I first picked them up online and smoked them, I didn't see what all the fuss was about. Well, things change, read my Holy Lance thread if you haven't already. Three months of humi time does wonders for Dion's cigars. I had the same problem with Tatuaje, not much flavor. The Tats I'm smoking now are so good, just like the Illusiones are great as well. Give them some sleepy time and try them again, they'll be bursting with flavor !!!

What up D! When I see you Saturday we shall discuss Cruzado for my shelves. Man I have not posted on these boards in forever. Speaking to Greg this morning made me remember them.
