Ditto for selling to my favorite shop outside of Pittsburgh. There are other shops that sell Illusione but I feel like I am "cheating" on my regular stop when I go elsewhere.

THE CG4 is one great cigar! I wonder how they will be with some time on them. However, dont think they will last. Just can't say enough aboout the flavor, burn and look of this little beauty.
Time on this earth is all we are given. How to spend it... is up to you. The rest, you gotta earn.

I just bought a couple of the cg:4's based on the buzz around here...pretty excited to have one this weekend.
Gonnagal- I got them at the Churchills in Southfield....12 Mile and Telegraph. I'm sure you know of it, but they were pretty well supplied and might have a full box if you wanted to pay the higher price at a B&M.

I have a fair amount of Illusiones stashed away. The vast majority of them are great. I find a little age brings out more in them. But I have smoked an 88 that was fantastic, and one that was a bit flat. Truthfully, I prefer the CG4, ECCJ, Bombone 68, MK and Holy lance. I seem to like the smaller ring gauges. The memorable 88's I have had have been full of flavor. Good luck and do give them another shot!

Sorry about the late reply, I work in Royal Oak and am heading to their store in Birmingham.
Gmade- Like mbrody said, give them another shot in at least 2 weeks, I don't think you will be dissapointed. The HL, 68, and eccj are truly amasing. Try the HL, that is a fantastic smoke that starts off with hints of white pepper then mellows out to a taste I can't describe. I would say creamy altough my palete isn't that refined.

Guys- thanks for all the encouragement....but I had the '2' torpedo today. Much of the same.....a flat taste. Mildly earthy at best. I have one more stick of '88' to try and that will most likely be it. *Just my experience*
Smoking the '88' again......better than the previous 2 I had. This one has a lush earthniss- medium flavor / body. I would say its nice cigar, but not a great cigar. The construction though is excellent. Currently I'm not tken with the flavor, but I probably will try them again in the near future. Thanks to all for the encouragement.
Zman I can't agree with you more, I am literally doing the pee pee dance till I can order the Cruzado. It would be awesome if Dion could give us a heads up, I can not wait!

What humidity do you recommend storing your cigars at (Illusione of course!).
I have been experimenting with 65% and closer to 70%. Any preference?
Finally, do you recommend a target aging time in the humidor that is prime for smoking? Any difference or comments for the ECCJ?
Thanks!
68% is pretty comfortable for my stuff. As for aging, I like them fresh off the table or, with a good nap between 90-120 days. ECCJ was tailored to the selection of the coverleaf - Sorry, I won't say much more than that with regards to the blend!
