Can't remember off the top of my head but, since IPCPR I belive I picked up a few stores in Dallas. Keep your eyes peeled. I'll post when I look at the retailer list back at the warehouse.
There's also one just off I-30 in Rockwall. Don't remember name just off hand, but supposed to be pretty big. Was gonna go there once but just didn't make it.

Fairly new to the site, saw this post about the Illusione cigars. Having bought a sampler from Mark/Tower of just about all of the cigars except the figuado and the eccj (which I can't wait to try BTW), and having smoked a couple of them, I am a little disappointed in the flavor. While these cigars are impeccably constructed, I was able to draw little or no flavor out of my first couple samples. Anyone else have this experience? After reading so much about them, I had high hopes for flavor bombs. Had the same experience with the Tatuajes I tried as well as a couple of the Padron '26s. Could it be these Nicaraguan cigars need serious humidor time to develop?

I bought a handfull of the eccj's and I let them age in the humidor for about a month now. I smoked one as soon as I got them and loved it. Then just last week I smoked another one and was blown away on how much better it was with just roughly 3 weeks on it. I've smoked a lot of the Illusione's, but have let them age at least a week before I smoke them. I did try an 88 a couple of days ago that I did not let age, and it wasn't the same.
My advice give them at least a couple of weeks in your humi and give them another go. I think you will be pleased with them.

I have a box of 68's that are just plain strong when cracked open. After a month or so, they still are strong, but I am tasting more flavor and the difference is striking (in a good way). Straight out of the box, they taste so strong, that it is easy to miss the flavors.
ECCJ tastes very good relatively out of the box, but to me screams "age me more" for what i will predict to become a phenomenal smoke. I'm talking let them rest for a year minimum here.

Sleep my pretties...sleep...
That's exactly what I was thinking when I was smoking them, and I'm going to age them at least a year before I give them another go.
I really want to get my hands on some more cg:4's though.

I tried my first last night- a 68. Loved it. Brilliant, perfect.
The only issue that I had- besides the fact that it distracted me so that I sank into the hot tub with my cell phone still in my pocket- was that it left a very intense aftertaste, like a cigar ashtray. It may be simply that I have not smoked in several days, but the taste kinda killed the euphoria.

Wait you know what a cigar ashtray taste like? How in the world did you figure that out? Perhaps desperate for a smoke, or just plain drunk?
"Is that a Churchill cigar in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"
I thought the 68's we're a very nice smoke, got hot towards the end so I had to end it early but very spicy. Just have to add that I gave the 88 another go this time with another week in the humi, WOW is all I can say. I see now why more people prefer the 88 over the cg:4 now.
Dion, I can't not wait till next month's new blend comes out. I wish I could pre order it.

I just tried my first cg:4 earlier here in Orlando and it was good. Tasted a bit of cocoa/leather flavor with plenty of smoke. I will also try the 88 later in the week.

In my opinion I like the 88's better. I have a box coming hopefully Thursday.

Actually- I should have said that it tasted like an ashtray smells.
I have tasted the ashes of a cigar in an "oops, I'm too drunk to understand which side of a cigar to put in my mouth" moment,- but its not something I choose to remember very often, lol

When you get your new humidor, make sure you throw in some 68's and CG4's to age. Over time, you may find that their flavor develops further while maintaining their "fresh" strength. I say this since I started with the 88 and loved the flavor. The 68 and CG4 seem a little lopsided when fresh. They are more of linear powerhouses. As they sit in my 'dor, more depth and flavor seems to come out, while retaining the strength. I find these as becoming more enjoyable than the 88. Everyone's palate is different, but you pretty much have nothing to lose with this experiment!

I was actually kinda thinking that myself.I can't wait to let them age more and give them another go. I seriously can not wait till my Aristocrat comes in.!

Dion, I just wanted to thank you for hooking up my B&M man Gary in Delaware. You won't be disappointed with Gary as he has alot of shops and sells alot of product. He is without a doubt the biggest and most knowledgeable B&M I have ever met and I know you won't be disappointed with him selling your products. He just put about 7 sizes in the store closest to me so I should be in good shape for a while...thanks
