Hey guys,
I know this topic has been beaten to death. Yes, I know opus x are overated. But I would love to purchase a box of robustos, #4's or #5's. I've searched the usual suspects but can't find any...

Thanks y'all!

Personally, I don't think you'll find boxes anywhere but ebay. Every now and then I see Famous-Smoke's auctions one off.

Yeah, you're doing to have trouble finding full boxes of Opus anywhere. I've never seen a full box online anywhere expect for Ebay nad you don't wanto buy them off there. Sometimes people protect their source for Opus even more than their source for CC's just because they're so hard to get.

The only way I can think of is to become a HUGE customer at Tampa Sweethearts, but that's going to take a lot of money. Even then, maybe that wouldn't work just because there just aren't enough boxes to go around.

Good luck in your search.

PS- I wouldn't say they overrated if you get them at MSRP. At that price, I think they're fantastic.

You can find Opus X on-line at CigarsDirect.com, including whole boxes. They are quite expensive though.

You cannot but Opus X on-line from an Authorized Opus X dealer because they are a limited production cigar and only delivered to Authorized dealers 2-3 times a year.

Some of these dealers sell them to resellers. I have seen boxes of Opus sold by these resellers for over $1000.00 a box.

If you really want to pay that much for a box of cigars I'll see what I can do for you.

Hey, thanks guys and thanks Doc for the offer.
Wow $1000 per box, yes these bad boys are a rare item indeed! I think I'll have to stick w/ the singles to satisfy my palate for now.

Seems like opus production is down a bit this year than last, could just be me of course...

Smoke on!

And that is 4 cigars for $150.00. Not worth it IMHO

Get friendly with a local. Two of my locals will let you buy as many as you'd like when they get them in.

Last year, I kept calling my local until he got a single box of Sharks in. When I walked in, he was willing to sell me the whole box for $12 a stick. I had never smoked them before so I only took 6. I won't repeat the error this year Smile

This is great advice! I recently moved back to LA LA land from a short stint in the midwest where my B&M carried opus-x for very reasonable prices. May have to get them to ship me some.

Unfortunately over here in CA, I can't seem to find a B&M w/ reasonable prices for opus-x singles...

Thanks y'all!

That seems to be the word on the street for this year, that Opus is actually rarer than Anejos this year.

Scottish Tobacco in Atlanta will sell by the box, and they have a good selection.

Their only problem (and the reason they still have a good selection) is that they charge 3 - 4 x MSRP

So many cigars, so little time...
