Gimeno's in Barcelona is good. I haven't been there myself in years but I have had friends buy cigars for me there recently. They have a big walk-in downstairs. http://www.barcelona.com/barcelona_directory/shops/gimeno There is a link to their website on the above link as well, their own site does not have as many pictures. They don't ship. Estanco Laeitano in Barcelona also gets reviewed well, I haven't bought there myself. I think you would have an easier time finding Gimenos though. It's on the Ramblas, one of the main tourist streets in the city. This page now has current spanish cigar prices. http://www.mycigarsite.com/subopciones/opcion1c/opcion1ceng.html I haven't been to Barcelona myself since 1991 so I can't recommend eats, I must get back. What I do remember though is the Plaza Real, just off the Ramblas too. Very nice square, surrounded by cloistered buildings, lots of bars and cafes with outside seating, great place to have a cigar and people watch.

Turns out that my hotel is right around the corner from Geminos. It just doesn't get any better.
It would be great if anyone knows of a local cigar bar or something. I've heard that a new smoking ban if in effect so I'm not sure how it's going to be yet.

I was in Spain last month, the smoking ban is hardly noticable in bars and restaurants. Bars over 100 sq metres (about 1100 sq ft) have to set up a non smoking section, bars smaller than that simply have to indicate if they are smoke free or not. I did not see a single smoke free bar out of the dozens that I was either in or walked past while I was there. Ireland, unfortunately, is a different story. Buy your cigars in the Estancos (official tobacco shops usually indicated by a brown and yellow "t" sign, Gimeno and Laietano are two) tobacco prices are government controlled in these and the price is the same in all of them. Cigars in restaurants or other places will always be more expensive.

I found Gimeno. I got a hotel right across the street. This is cigar heaven...they're stored well and they're CHEAP. I'm smoking 2-3 cigars a day while I'm here. There's only on person in there that speaks English but she knows her cigars!!
Here are some photos for those who haven't seen it before: GIMENO
Thanks for the info you guys!!

That's a nice looking selection you have there. The Trinidads especially are great value in Spain. The first PSP2s I had were from Gimenos. Any sign of the Vegas Robaina Maestros? They are this year's Regional Edition release for Spain, 6.5 X 50. I don't think they're out yet but you never know.
