Have read that a lot of you have gone to the Punta Cana area. What hotels have you guys stayed at. I am planning on a trip this May and have been looking at the Bahia Prinicipe and wondered if any of you have stayed there. Just looking for some suggestions.

I stayed at the Bavaro Beach Resort maybe five years ago.

It was okay. It had an older section and a newer section. A golf course right on the resort.

It was okay.

Quality does not occur by chance. It is the result of intelligent activities.

If you want exclusive hotel arrangements, then check out the Tortuga Bay Hotel in Punta Cana. Hotel staff meet you at the airport and assist with immigration, luggage, and customs. The hotel provides private, round-trip transportation between the airport and the hotel. Guests also have use of the airport's VIP lounge on departure day.

This hotel has private white-sand beach where you stay at one of the hotel's 15 beachfront villas that are situated in a 15,000-acre gated community.

Other hotels to research and choose:

Ocean Blue Golf & Beach Resort -All Inclusive
Paradisus Punta Cana -All Inclusive
Excellence Punta Cana -Adults only
Dreams Punta Cana -Family oriented
Majestic Colonial Punta Cana -All Inclusive
Melia Caribe Tropical -All Inclusive
Paradisus Palma Real -All Inclusive

Have fun.... Punta Cana in DR is awesome and a great vacation.

Let us all know which you one you picked and how your vacation trip was in DR.
