it was great fun for all, and my food served about 30 people.

Calve's liver. Saying AWESOME is an understatement.

You get some fresh, mediumly sliced calve's liver. The pale stuff.
Not baby beef liver and not beef liver. Never pork liver.

Get the grill very hot. I don't marinate the liver. I put a bit of steak spice on it.
Clean the grill and baste a bit of oil on it.
Slop the liver perpendicular to the grill tines.
Couple of minutes max & turn it over. Another couple of minutes max and its ready. Nice and pink & juicy.
Ambrosia.

Serve with baked potato and sour cream.
Assorted grilled vegetables.

If your mouth is not slobbering when you read this I suggest that you leave the country. We don't need your kind here.
