I Figure I'd encourage the great Bbq'ers out there to gear up and fire up that grill.
Here's a preview of my last summer's bbq.
Hope this inspires you to grill something more besides hotdogs and burgers.
Enjoy.

Awesome! I´m planning on making paella on my grill. The trick is using wood not charcoal. I´ll let you know how it turns out.

I love lamb on the grill myself. I ask the butcher to de bone it and grill marinated chumks.

anyone here use Haloumi cheese on the grill? I was exposed to it in the UK and it is an outstanding grilling cheese.

I also bought a grilling plate to do vegetables, wven better than steaming.

Haven't gooten too creative since moving into the apartment but regularly grill pork chops, steak, chicken, beer can chicken, burgers and dogs of course, leg of lamb, fish, ribs, asparagus, broccoli, corn and baked potatoes. Sliced sweet onions (Vidalia are my favorites) are outstanding grilled.

Anyone around Queens , NY this Saturday , August 1st @2pm should stop by Havana Dreams on Woodhaven blvd.
There is an outdoor area for the lounge, buy a couple of cigars and drinks and enjoy my bbq.
Yes they have a grill in the outdoor area and I've decided to throw a bbq for the lounge patrons..

On the menu:

Pulled Pork shoulders
Herb Marinated chicken
BBq chicken
Cajun dirty rice
cornbread
coleslaw
biscuits

pics to follow.

Steve, wish you were here already

I asked the owner Havana Dreams cigar lounge and he's down for us to throw a seafood boil here before the end of summer. Last time me and rob had one, we loaded the table with a mound of lobsters, dungeness crabs, corn, taters, clams, razor clams, shrimp, mussels, sweet corn, & andouille sausage
