Was just wonder if there are any other members on here from the United Kingdom (Northern Ireland in particular).
If not, was wonder if anyone has been to London and if so have any favourite Cigar stores or places thats good to have a smoke.
There are a number of excellent outlets in London, especially JJ Foxs, the only suppllier I'm told to the Royal family, and Davidoff of London where I was treated like Royalty, very impressed.
But these stores are very well known. Anyone know of any places that maybe few people know of that maybe you stumbled across by accident, but where well impressed with.
Next time you go to London, you have to visit Alfred Dunhill in Jermyn Street as well. J.J. Fox is in St. James's Street and Davidoff on the corner formed by St. James's Street and Jermyn Street, så as you can see, it is very easy to find. When you walk in, Alfred Dunhill's looks like an ordinary store for fashion and other clothings, but take the stairs to first floor. Here you'll find the whole floor as one big humidor. Here you can enjoy i cigar in a very fine atmosphere sitting in comfortable leather chairs just like at J.J. Fox's or Davidoff's. You'll never regret a visit here.
When in London and I have spare time I go to Covent Garden and watch the street entertainers while having a smoke and a coffee. There is a very good cigar shop (small but good), in Covent Garden Market. Have a wander round, you'll find it inside overlooking the cafe where the opera singers busk.
There's also the Churchill Divan.

Northend let me know if you find the name to that shop or what street it's on.
I was in London, last April, staying in the East End very near the Bethel Green stop and I stumbled into that exact shop, when we visited Covent Gardens. I was turned around when I entered the shop, I went back 2 days later and I couldn't find it again. (Might have been the 4 pints of Abbott's Ale )
I haven't answered to this post until now, because I was trying to come up with the exact name. I've search the web to no avail.
The thing I enjoyed most about Covent Garden was people watching. It's great sport, especially while smoking a cigar and tipping a few.
The travel guides should list this activity as a "Must Do" while in London.

I am British but currently live in Belgium. I think I have only ever bought 1 cuban cigar in UK and that was in Edinburgh last weekend for the rugby. At 9 pounds for a HdM Petit Robusto (as I wanted to try one) I shall not be being many more in UK.

My GF is British (Wolverhampton, GO WOLVES!) and we are planning on visiting England this summer. I plan on bringing a supply of cigars because prices there are so high.
It's inside the covered market area, out on one edge Opposite side from the church. You should be able to find it in a few minutes, Covent Garden Market is a small place. Good luck.
The day I went back and couldn't find it, I was just a couple doors down at Punch and Judy's for a few pints and some sort of Beef and Kidney type slop. (Who cares what the food taste like when you've got a couple pints and a Monte # 5)
Thanks Northend I'll get in touch next time I'm in London maybe we can tip a few...beers not birds. ...the wife wouldn't like that.
