I notice there are people on this posts from many countries, and many regions within those countries (especially in the USA). Now, like many of you (I hope), I like to cook and love to try new recipes from other places. So here it is : I'd like to have your favorite recipe from your region. It doesn't have to be traditional, it can be a modern recipe (I won't post the recipe for Poutine). So here is a marinade recipe to go with venison. Tender parts (filet and such), cut in cube to make brochettes. For 4 brochettes : 2 table spoons apple cide vinegar 1 1/2 tea spoons groung ginger 2 cloves of garlic, chopped 2 tbl spoons maple syrup 1/2 cup soya sauce 3/4 cup olive oil (a nice one) 2 tbl spoons of apple brandy or cognac. Bourbon is ok too. Mix and marinate cubes overnight.
Here's a simple one: Par boil some bratwurst in beer. After 10 minutes or so, throw the saugages on the grill to finish them off. I've found the cheaper the beer the better. Serve them up with onions, mustard, whatever you like.

I prefer a heavily malted beer when boiling the sausages. I poke tonnes of holls in it with a fork first then boil em up. The maltyness realy lends alot of sweetness to the sausage, mmmmmmm
