Call the Coyote Café as they have rooftop dining outside with a view near the Plaza, this would be perfect as the food is impressive. Although I lived there for some time, wish I could help more as it’s been years and besides, it’s a very liberal / politically correct city so I wouldn’t count on anything. I wasn’t yet an aficionado at the time, so I would immediately call the local B&M as they certainly will be the best source for direction. If staying upscale downtown I like suites at The Inn of the Anazasi, El Dorado, or La Pasada. http://www.coyotecafe.com/http://www.sfcigar.com/
