I will be going to Hilton Head Island in a few weeks and I saw there are several cigar shops in the area. Does anyone have any recommendations or warnings about those shops?

Thanks

Tiny Tim was there a few weeks ago. I'm sure he'll chime in.

I vacation at Hilton Head almost every year, but I always take my own sticks with me. Here is a cigar bar that is on the island, although I've never been to it. It looks nice.

Cigar bar

If you would like a true ocean-side bar, try the Tiki Hut at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront Hotel. It's adjacent to the pool. Very nice, outside bar.

My wife and I love Hilton Head; you'll love it too! Wink

I vacation there almost yearly and have lived on the island before. The lodge is OK...maybe. Last time I was there they kept the walk in humidor locked and a barkeep had to let you in - takes the fun out of it. There is also a cigar shop, the name escapes me, in the strip mall I believe called Coligny Plaza. This shopping center is the last thing on your left if you are entering the main Sea Pines gate. It isn't as nice as it used to be but they have a very fair selection of sticks and OK prices. Last time I was in this summer several of the sticks were moldy (it was not bloom). Give them a shot.

Thanks to everyone, I've never been to Hilton Head Island but have been to many spots on the East Coast and I am really looking forward to the trip. I will check out the spots mentioned.
