sounds like a great dinner, is this the place that charges for everything seperately, and a baked potato is like $12.00? Confused

Charloods:

How would you compare Bryant and Coopers steak with Peter Luger?...is it cigar-friendly? (I know Luger is not).

Bryant and cooper is a much better atmosphere! but, the steak at Luger's IMHO is still the best in the WORLD, not that i tasted them all Big Grin
no like o man said, you cannot smoke in ALMOST anywhere in NYC. i do believe there are a few places. I'm not positive, but i think the steak house in scores is one of the places you can smoke. there a few places on long island that you can eat and smoke in. the CARLTON being one of them.

Charloods:

Next time you're in Manhattan and want a good porterhouse, check out Bobby Van's....very comparable to Luger and I am one of those who say you start with Peter Luger and work your way down.
