As a college student, I must say that most of the time, I usually pair my maduros with a can/red party cup of Natural Light Frown

Try Stone Ruination IPA with a CAO MX2. This combination has been one of my favorite after work rituals! The Stone Ruination is 7.7% alcohol and is probably the hoppiest, most bitter beer I've had. Great with a maduro!

Padron maduro (take your pick) and Victory Storm King Stout or if unavailable a Sierra Nevada goes well. The Storm King is an incredible beer, I highly recommend it if you haven't tried it.

I'm with you, hoppy beer goes extremely well with cigars in general and the maduro in particular.

Newcastle Brown Ale and a Anejo 55

"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points."

Chimay Blue Label is one of my favorites, though I think a St. Sebastiaan dark with an Oliva series v could go nicely together. The series v maduro especial would be nice with a Kostritzer on draft- nice balance.

Favorite would probably be a padron anniversary maduro (any) with a trappist ale... so many options for so many moods. Nom.

xx

The same can be said of cigars in a humidor. They are meant to be smoked and enjoyed.

This wouldn't be the chimay that you like would it? What cigar goes great with it?

Chimay

It was left at my house by one of my friends during my rooftop summer bbq. Am not much of a beer drinker and would rather have it go to someone who appreciates it more than I do.

Yes! That's the one. I love it, and with anything really- had one last week with a Cain Habano.

Probably would pair it with a Padron Anniversary... natural or maduro, 40th or 80th. I've had it with a Tatuaje Cojonu in the past, too. Very nommy. Maybe a Cabaiguan Guapos Maduro would go nicely, too, now that I think of it.

It is a different style of beer- you may enjoy it.

It's yours if you want it.... I have no use for it except decorations for my fridge's interior. Am not really a drinker..

shoot me an email and i'll send it on your way with a lil cigar pairing..I hate for good stuff to go into waste. I'll rather see it being enjoyed by someone who will appreciate it.

Thank you for the kind offer, though I'm sure an opportunity will come up, even if it is unexpected. You never know, keep it on hand- it ages well Wink
