I'm curious as to what some of your favorite beer pairings are with maduro cigars. I've got such little experience in beer/cigar pairing and I'd like to earn more about it.

Do not pair that often. But when I do I really like. Padron 80th with a Guiness.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT BEER IS DUVEL PAIR A BOMBER OF THAT WITH ANY CIGAR YOU WANT.THAT STUFF IS GREAT! ITS A BEER FROM BELGIUM OVER 9%ALC CONTENT, SMELLS BEAUTIFUL

Thanks to a good friend showing me where it was at, here are some good pairings:

Any Tatuaje Brown/Reserva w/ Old Engine Oil
Any Tatuaje Brown/Reserva w/ Arrogant Bastard

Also, the crisp taste of Strongbow goes with a lot of Nicaraguan cigars. But on the other had, I rarely drink anything with a cigar other than Coke Zero, Diet Coke, or Diet Dr. Pepper.

I pair stouts or porters with Maduros

Paulaner Salvator ot Spaten Optimator w/ a 601 Blue is always a good pairing IMO.

Aventinuns Icebock and Padron 80th maduro

Central Waters Mud Puppy Porter with Padron 3000 Maduro.

Dragons Milk from New Holland Brewery in Michigan

Blue Moon w/ a Partagas Black is a good pairing as well

You can't beat a good Belgian beer, most notably Rochefort 10 or Westmalle 10 with any Padron Maduro k series or anniversary.

Dont know how far north of Texas you can get it, but I really enjoy Shiner Bock. Theyre standard brew is a much darker than many major beers and it goes well with a maduro. I usually like tea or coke with my cigars though.

Tucher dark from germany and a 6x54 partagas black maduro-FC.

Sammy Adams Honey Porter with any cigar

I like Harps with pretty much anything.

New Glarus Coffee Stout with any maduro tastes delicious. New Glarus Staghorn (their Octoberfest) with a Rocky Patel Winter Corona.

Not really into the "pairing" thing. However, with maduros, which tend to be milder something like a Warsteiner. With stronger cigars a Spaten or Paulaner stand up well.

Anejo 48 or 77 with Guinness.
