Silly question, as Vegas is the cigar smoking capitol of America, but I'm looking for good cigar lounges on the strip. I'm well aware that we are "allowed" to smoke in the casinos, but I'm really looking for a nice divan. Any suggestions?

I'm headed to Vegas next week and while I've never been there personally, I've heard a lot of good things about Napoleaon's in Paris and plan on visiting it.

Check out the 4/17 Sunday travel section of the NY Times--article devoted to Vegas restaurants and clubs.....there's a French restaurant run by Allan Ducaisse called Mixx that looks as though it has a very cool patio overlooking the strip where I would imagine you would be able to smoke.

I was in Vegas a week before Christmas and went to the top of the Stratosphere for a cigar. There's a lounge, restaurant and some rides at the top. Probably one of the best views I've had while smoking a cigar.

Best place to smoke a cigar in Vegas is at the Petrossian Bar at Bellagio. No, it's not a cigar bar, but as you correctly noted, practically anywhere in Vegas is cigar friendly. Petrossian Bar has an excellent pianist, the best blue cheese stuffed olive martinis, superb caviar, comfortable and luxurious sofas and chairs ... it's just a wonderful lounge/bar ... a fantastic place to smoke a cigar and watch the comings and goings of people in and out of Bellagio, or to enjoy the company of someone and have a conversation (it's not loud). The best!

I regret to say I will not be at Wynn Las Vegas this weekend for the opening as I had planned. The reason Bellagio is as good as it is, is because it IS Steve Wynn. Down to every detail, it was Steve Wynn's creation and its success is because of him ... like him or hate him, he makes a damn good hotel. Anyway, I digress. I mention this because Petrossian Bar may soon be eclipsed by an establishment at Wynn Las Vegas, in fact, I would expect nothing less. Cigar smokers heading to Las Vegas starting 4/28 would be well suited to check out Wynn to find what I assume will be the best place to smoke a cigar.

I'd have to agree. I ended up staying at the Bellagio this last trip I made and it is a very cigar friendly place. Pretty much anywhere you go seems set up for a nice smoke with comfortable chairs and great refreshments. Next trip over I'd like to checkout Wynn just to see what he's done.
