I'm in Chciago all the time but never stayed at the Conrad. Is it on Michigan Ave.? Illinois is banning smoking in all bars (including cigar bars) Jan. 1.
Tobacco shops are exempt, although not all have evening hours. Iwan Ries is a longtime downtown tobacco shop, but it keeps bankers' hours.
Up-Down Tobacco in Old Town is open into the evening, but has no lounge (at least last time I was there).
There are lots of smaller smoke shops in the city. Not sure if they are exempt or have lounges.
I meant Chicago, Illinois ... here in the United States! Silly you ... I mean ... this is a FREE country and the government would NEVER ban a legal product! Sheesh ... I don't know where you live, but HERE in this FREE country, we live by our CHOICES!
HA! ... where YOU live, they probably ban smoking, have laws REQUIRING you to, say, wear your seat belt ... probably have cameras in case you run a red light!
HA HA ... in this FREE country ... oh ... WAIT!
ARGHHHH!!!!!!!
Thanks, and All The Best,
