Have a trip booked to the Robert T. Jones trail in Alambama -- sticking to the Southern end in Mobile, AL.

Wanted to know if anyone else has played there (Magnolia Grove or Marriott Grand specifically) and if there are any reco's for Cigar friendly spots in the evening.

I've been aging enough exceptional smokes to last 5 rounds + the evenings!

Mr Fingers,

I don't play golf and I live in north Alabama but I have heard from some of the golf players in my unit that the Robert Trent Jones courses are a great place to play golf. This golf course trail goes from the north end of our state to the gulf.

Welcome to Alabama and hope you have a great time!!

I worked for the State of Alabama as a Senior Environmentalist for 7 years until budget cuts did away with my job and I was laid off. While I was with the state the man who manages the state employees retirement system used our retirement money to build these golf courses. Many of us were concerned that he waisted our retirement funds by doing this. However it turned out to be a great investment and earned us higher than expected returns.
