The Euro is in use on both sides of the island at the same rate. The French side of St. Martin is a lot more laid back than the more touristy Dutch side, more scenic along the coast, and the restaurants are far better. There's also a very nice Davidoff retailer in Marigot, just one block up from the Anguilla ferry terminal.

when in St. Martin, go to the french side to dine, and the dutch to party...

this is the way to do it....

legit cigars are available on both sides.... But I'm not sure if there's a price difference

Also be aware the ATMs on the island make you choose U.S. dollars or Euros, so consider how you're going to use the cash and are familiar with the current exchange rate.

I have been going to Jamaica for years. I have never had any problems and i have been in some of the worst places you could imagine in Jamaica at night. If you are looking for a place to stay with a descent place to get ciagrs i would rec Round Hill. This is a very nice place, Ralph Laurn has a house there so with Paul Mcarnty.. and many many others. The price may be a little much for some, but it is most definatley worth it....
