The Euro is in use on both sides of the island at the same rate. The French side of St. Martin is a lot more laid back than the more touristy Dutch side, more scenic along the coast, and the restaurants are far better. There's also a very nice Davidoff retailer in Marigot, just one block up from the Anguilla ferry terminal.

I have been going to Jamaica for years. I have never had any problems and i have been in some of the worst places you could imagine in Jamaica at night. If you are looking for a place to stay with a descent place to get ciagrs i would rec Round Hill. This is a very nice place, Ralph Laurn has a house there so with Paul Mcarnty.. and many many others. The price may be a little much for some, but it is most definatley worth it....
