Thinking of heading the Hilton Head this summer. There are a lot of different communities to stay in (looking for 2 bedroom villa oceanfront or oceanview). Does anyone have recommendations of the nicer areas to stay?

What is your price range? I have always prefered a place in Sea Pines. I have never stayed oceanfront. If you stay on the second or third row and watch where the path is to the beach in relationship to your rental it is a very short walk to the beach. But the children are all grown now and the grandchildren are in PA. They are closer to the NC Outer Banks, so that is where we meet them.

I'd like to know the best place regardless of price. Looking online the average 2 bedroom oceanfront villa is about $2,000 to $2,500 per week peak season.
