I am defintely not the only person with this issue.
So, assuming you want to smoke a wonderful freakin cigar on a Saturday that took you weeks to locate and own and then, well, hey maybe you want to crawl into bed and have another extrenely fun time that hopefully didn't take weeks.....
She hates the smell. I personally like it as I do the lingering flavors and I hate to kill them immediately with mouthwash.

Well, I could only suggest hypnosis or elective olfactory-ectomy! Nothing in the world is going to make her enjoy doing you when you smell burnt, lol.

I think your going to have to give in on those nights when you want to get some: wash, swash, and give up those enjoyable lingering flavors - besides, I like my girls better without the cigar overtones anyway.

Yeah, the wife was flipping me crap last night because I have been smoking (and buying) cigars and it was kind of sudden. Her line is "I'm not going to pay for when you get mouth cancer." Not quite sure what to say to that...
Fortunately, I don't have that problem. If it were me though, I think I'd thank my lucky stars that I just had a good/great cigar and was about to get lucky and just get cleaned up in order to seal the deal

It takes me about four minutes to shower. If you use mouthwash while showering, all you'll need is an extra minute to brush after you're done. If sex isn't worth four minutes of preparation with a loofah and an Oral-B Cross Action, then nobody here can help you.
This is way to much info, but sounds like you know the drill through practiced experience.

Is her hating the smell directed at cigars or at you? Have you, yourself, nickel and dimed her for stuff that she does that you dislike? Is this an indicator of an underlying conflict?
I have similar problems. She asks me to light up a stick for her when I am watching Jeopardy. Luckily Jeapardy is on at 7:00 on NBC and at 7:30 on CTV. So then we go outside, light up a stick and when it gets to two thirds done she leaves me alone with it.

Wow, guess I am lucky. When I started smoking cigars, my GF didnt mind.
Then one night we were with friends and I had some smokes and some drinks. Friends left later, then she told me "I love the way you smell, it turns me on." Then you know what happened after that.
