It has been really cool to get to "know" folks on this board via their posts, now BinDer's work with the photos and through (in my case) the Secret Santa pass. I know that some of us in that Secret Santa talked about meeting up at a Big Smoke or even inventing our own "Little Smoke" somewhere.
I just had a wild (and probably super impractical) idea: How cool would it be to take a trip and visit the factories in the DR, Nica or Honduras? Can you imagine a few of us and significant others trekking down there, enjoying the place, the smokes, the exchange rate and getting a tour of the factory, watching the rollers, etc.? I, personally, would love to witness the "process" first-hand.
I have read of people getting a great tour here in Little Havana, but anyone ever do one of these trips? We could even write some article about how the taxi driver ripped us off and how incensed we were to be the victims of such infamy
No, seriously... anyone ever dream of this?

Give me the time and money and I'll go, too. For an indefinite period (except during vacation) I'm playing Mr. Mom every afternoon so it would be kind of impossible. Sorry.

Hell ya Andy, I would love to do that. I think the timing would have to be perfect though for alot of us to make it. I think we should do something like that if its just a get together somewheres, at the big smoke, or a trip. Just getting to meet up and talk with some of the guys would be awesome.

Pmp... don't push your luck with her She already digs you AND cigars. That must be pushing the probability envelope! She takes one look at our mugs on BinDer's Yahoo page and it may be a deal breaker for you!

My buddy Bulz has taken a couple of trips like that to Christian Eiroa's (Camacho) place. I'm sure he'll pipe in when he reads this, if not PM him...
