Towards the end of my last deployment I started noticing a pressure in my head (kind of like the feeling of trying to blow up a balloon that doesn't want to cooperate). Mad

Anyway after returning Stateside and seeing the docs, getting an MRI of my noggin, seeing an ENT and neurologist, the general concensus is that stress combined with 7-8 cups of an extra bold blend coffee per day where the culprit.

The expert solution - give up caffeine. Painful but done (sort of, read on).

The "dilemma" is that I play hockey, with one particular league meeting each wednesday night at 2200, slapping the biscuit around for an hour on the ice. Needless to say, without caffeine, Thursday can be a bit of a challenge.

A hockey buddy recommended the 5 Hour Energy Drink you see advertised on TV. And it really works! It's quite amazing. I don't know how, but supposedly with no more caffeine than a single cup of coffee, it keeps me going all day.

The downside is that, going on twenty hours later, I'm here typing this thread instead of spooning my bride Wink

Any of you have experience with this product?

I have tried those 5hour energy shots before and they seemed to work about as good as a bookoo or anything with caffeine, as in not 5 hours of energy maybe thats just me.
However my roommate in college swares by the zipfizz (zipfizz.com) line of energy drinks and powders. I dont know about the caffeine but you get about 41,000% of you daily value for vitamin B12. These have worked better for me than anything else so far and as a college student I think I know my way around the energy drink section lol.

That Vitamin b12 thats a real shot in the arse.
Great for putting lead in the old pencil as well.
I have never tried the energy drinks but from experience i would have to say anything with b12 is the ticket.

If you are looking for a boost for sports contest, try BSN products. You can find them online or at your local GNC store. I have been doing a mass-building phase in my workouts and I use the N.O.-Xplode before every workout. The energy boost and extra focus and intensity it gives are are unreal. You can also try the EndoRush drink products.

To find the best prices on these go to http://www.vitamindeal.com/index.html
