Just thought I'd share... but i'm a big fan of thick-a$$ stouts and I stumbled upon this hefty mother on my bi-weekly jaunt to Total Wine:
Mackeson Triple Stout
Okay imagine the thickest stout you can think of, say a Guiness Extra Stout or a Young's Double Chocolate stout, then pour some tar in it, and then you have some Mackeson! I shined a flashlight on one side of my glass, and i saw jack-squat on the other side.
I've seen in only in bottle form, but i would kill to get this in a draught can.
The head on this beer is the color of a regular Guiness... seriously.
I would describe the flavor as thich and creamy, velvety dark chocolate with a nice hoppy finish.
PS - this is not for the faint of heart. Don't eat for a day, just so you can make room for a pint or two of Mackeson's. it's very very filling.
Where is is made/ I used to love the British Mackeson Stoudt, but the last case I bought was"brewed under license' in Cincinnatti Ohio & just didn't taste the same.
I you like Mackeson's, try some of Bell's beers stouts if you can find them in your area. Incredible. Especially Expedition Stout. It's Larry Bell's version of a Russian Imperial.

I love Mackeson Triple Stout also...I get it at a small Liquor store here in Valrico. Along with Blue Moon Ale, Newcastle Brown Ale and Dinkel Acker German Beer.

I have always been a fan of Young's Double Chocolate, but this one blew it away IMO. Give it a try if you can find it. let me know what you think if you do.
As far as where it is brewed, I'll check and get back to you.
