The other day I was watching the Food Tv show Everyday Italian with Giada. She was making a coffee desert and used an interesting pot on the stove to make expresso. Yesterday I was in Richmond shopping and found that pot - Moka Express Bialetti. Used it last night and had some very nice coffee. Probably not as good as all these thousand dollar expresso machines but for my tastes it worked very well. Now I have to find some decaf expresso coffees to sample in my new toy. Yes decaf - doctors orders.
If anyone likes expresso and makes it once or twice a week I would recommend this device.

Algernon,is right (not that he needs me to tell him ),but espresso and moka are not the same. Some Italian Americans use the terms to mean both ,but most Italians know there is a difference. But your right Moka is great I have it every morning. And yes the decaf Illy is good (a little expensive but good and she was born and raised in Italy)
