I really did not know which board to post this...but this seems like as good a place as any.
While traveling through Germany last month, my buddy and I made a purposeful stop at the LCDH in Hamburg. With the intention of smoking "a cigar", and myself buying something special.
As it turns out, we met some very special folks there, including Christoph, one of the managers there, as well as his buisness partner and owner of several other shops Mitch.
I have never been treated so special. What began as a cigar to relax..became an all-out Herf! Cuban cigar heaven! H.Upmann Nr.2, Lusitanias, Bolivar Colosales..anything and everything. And lest I forget the rum and red wine as well! A good time was had by all.

Mitch and Zef,..sorry you had to leave for London so early...we could have had a blast that night!

Christoph and Mitch and Zef as well...truly great hosts, superb cigar aficionados and lovely conversationalists.

My recommendation to anyone even "near" Hamburg..visit the LCDH there..you will not be disappointed. Ask for Christoph (maybe Mitch will be there too!), and he will find what you are looking for.

For the record..I bought a box of Upmann Nr 2, which are smoking fabulously, a cab of 50 RASS, and a box of Partagas Culebras, and a bottle of Edmundo Dantes 15 year old rum (we finished a bottle in the shop together..as a sampler)!

Mitch and Christoph...Oktoberfest was a hoot!
See you again sometime.
Brian (and Trent)

Sheepshead Bay,
I do know of the web pages, thanks. Later I found out it was through Mitchs' firm in London that I ordered my Min Ron Nee tomb on cigars,(about 18 months ago),that everyone seems to have. Finally met the man...funny guy! Loves his cigars!

I do hope to make it to London some day, and if so I will pay him a visit.

The Hamburg LCDH is indeed fine. High prices compared to some, but outstanding service and selection.
