I just came home from vacation on Malta. I was trying to find a shop to buy cigars there, but was disappointed. I did find a tobaconist in Valletta (located between city gate and McDonnalds restaurant). They had a stand alone humidor and a poor selection of cuban cigars. I decided to take a pack of 3 Montecristo no.4, since I did not stock well enough for my vacation.
When I came back to the hotel room I opened the pack and one cigar was molded. Was realy disappointed.
Local tour guide said that was the only shop to sell cigars on Malta that he could remember.

Perhaps I could buy good cigars at Hilton hotel. I think that was the finest hotel there.
Anyway I was staying at 4* hotel, but no sign of cigars.

If you go to Malta, come there well stocked!!!
