There's an amusement park, a botanical garden, an insectarium, a biodome, some big churches, and old part of the city called old Montreal (vieux Montréal)
The underground city goes from sherbrooke steet to notre dame. It is a hallway lined with stores that goes from building to building. There is one aroumd McGill College and another near Place Des Arts. Brouse in here to find theUnderground city map It's a good place in winter; in summer the streets are nicer.
The look outs on the mountain are nice. There are three.

I've heard it's a nice bar with good jazz shows... Haven't been there, but Mont-Royal avenue is indeed a cool, trendy sector of Montreal. Nice boutiques too... You might have to use your French a bit in that sector (much less anglo than downtown) -- though it shouldn't be too much of a problem to be understood...
