Greetings All,

I'm a new member, and am looking for some input from those who live or frequently visit the Pacific Northwest, and who enjoy quality cigars on a regular basis.

It's been my experience thus far (born and raised here but have only been smoking for a couple of years) that this area isn't the most accomodating for cigar smokers, particularly near where I live, which is in a suburb of Portland. I long for a mellow place (absent of face painted sports fanatics) where I can relax, enjoy a few drinks, watch some sports, and of course savor a top notch puro or three in the process.

There are still a few establishments that allow smoking indoors, but it never ceases to amaze me how I continually get the stink eye from Marlboro and Camel smokers who complain to the management that my cigar "stinks" (that's a rant for another time) and have been asked on numerous occassions to extinguish my cigar long before I'm through with it - a criminal offense in my book.

So, I'm looking for help. If you can provide a few good places to smoke that aren't too far away from the Portland area, I would really appreciate it. If there aren't enough, maybe I'll open my own damn shop.

Thanks in advance for reading the lengthy post.
