Nachos and beer at my house.

Have started my home made chile which will go on the nachos. Will BBQ chicken tomorrow to add to the Nachos. Probaby will have a few Williamsburg Pale Ales. Pretty simple - can't work the food and beer off like I used to.

What are the rest of you all doing?? Anything special?

Hope whatever team you are pulling for wins as long as it's the one I am pulling for.

McNut!
One day when Pmp, Stoge and I have turned "McNut's Porch" into a reality, you're gonna have to do some serious aerobicizing to keep that weight off!

I'm marinating some lamb for a big Sunday dinner (pre-game) tomorrow and will accompany it with tomato and fresh mint salad, cauliflower gratin and a stew of artichokes, peas and serrano ham. Suffice it to say, that by game time all I am gonna want to be doing is SMOKING ME a really nice cigar!

I'll make a couple differnt styles of chicken tenders. Hot, cajun and maybe an italian blend. Also gonna make some nachos with homemade salsa.

Just got back from the Coast (Daytona Beach - crowds are horrible, forgot it's the beginning of Speed Week) with five pounds of huge whole fresh Pink Shrimp (right off the boat) and four lbs of fresh Grouper.

Gonna brush them with my homemade Garlic oil, fire up the grill & throw them on with a few lbs of Brats (soaking in beer and onions right now) and enjoy the game.
Cool

Doing some chicken with yellow rice, sloppy joes with buffalo burger, and some homemade pizza here. That and a pony keg of Mich Ultra, three different kinds of bourbon, two different kinds of vodka, and all the munchies you can handle..

Motor.....
You've got that right, I've got the baby back ribs on the grill with corn on the cob and home made coleslaw (throw in some corn bread) and this will be a very memorable super bowl no matter who wins !!!

Just let me know where Andy and I'll make plans. I'm not a gourmet chef like some of you guys, but I can hold my own in a kitchen and I love cooking, which is almost as good as drinking but not quite

Andy,

It would be something to meet at a central location and have a "Cook off / Smoke off" with some of us. I watch Food Network and see these Rib & Chili cook offs and would love to attend one, but it would be better to participate in one (with just some good friends) Maybe we can plan one in the future ??

Paul,
I am totally for it!
I work 2 days a week in Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda and 3 days a week from Melbourne to Fort Pierce. I am SO WILLING to drive. Not an issue with me. Maybe the O-town area would be the place to meet, or Tampa and Ybor city. If it's a weekend, I am THERE.

Alright - Do I need to pull this thread?? This is so starting to make me feel sad. Here I start a thread about the super bowl eats and suddenly we have all you guys in Florida meeting to have great food and cigar!!! Red Face WTF!!

Only kidding - wish we had a group in Virginia that was that fired up over food and cigars, maybe even life!!

I hope you folks get together and have one hell of a time. Just let me know what you ate and smoked!! Big Grin

Come on McNut... it ain't that far to drive. Especially if we do it up towards Jax! You could jump on I-95, grab some bar-b-que in Smithfield NC and be in Jacksonville before you know it. You hang out for the weekend and we give you special permission to bug out early Sunday afternoon!
