Does anyone know the dates of the next Habanos Festival? I know it's normally at the end of February but the exact dates don't seem to be officially announced so perhaps one of you gentlemen has the answer...

I was strarting to plan my winter vacation and thought it might be an interesting exprerience to go there for the event. Then again, perhaps it is not. So, another question: has anybody who's been there had a memorable or, au contraire, forgetable experience?

Information is not readily available at the moment. Your best bet is to keep on checking the Habanos SA web site (habanos.com) as information should be up within the next 30 days. There also is contact information on the site in case you wish to email them or call them (only if you speak decent/fluent Spanish). Good luck.

Does something like this sound acceptable to send:

"Una pequeña cuestión para ustedes : ¿Usted sabe ya cuándo será el festival de Habanos en 2007?
¡Gracias!"

Well, after having sent the message above to Habanos in Cuba, I got the following answer:

"El próximo Festival del Habano, se efectuará del 26 de febrero al 2 de marzo del año 2007."

So there you have it! Exclusively on the CA Forum before anywhere else: the 2007 festival will take place from February 26 to March 2nd.

I'll definitely try and be there. Anybody else?
