My wife and I will be going on another cruise this time departing from Miami. Any assistance on where I can purchase a canister of butane (for my lighters) before boarding would be helpful.

Don't bother bringing your lighter. You can't take it on the airplane anyway.

Just buy a Bic when you get to Miami.

Not in your carry-on, Doc, but I've flown with lighters in my checked baggage often, even before I started using the TSA-aprroved Transpak. I wouldn't put anything too expensive in there, but I like my Colibri Vortex, so I go with that.
