Saturday evening is Martini night for me. A shaker of Tanqueray with a bit of M&R, Ice and a squeeze of fresh lime. Shake until really cold and well mixed, pour into a large Martini glass with 4 Queen Olives (The really BIG ones).

Add a plate of hard cheese such as Swiss and some Pepperoni and you have the perfect end of the work-week potable.

I usually enjoy an Opus X with a Martini.

What do you like to relax with?

Doc ***** Tobacco is a filthy weed, I like it...

A nice small batch bourbon, red wine, microbrew, or on rare occasion some ouzo. some good cheese ane olives, maybe some stuffed mushrooms or savory meat pies. After that a nice padron maduro, torano, or a maybe a prized cuban on special occasions. These are the little interludes that take me away from my day-to-day and keep life good.

A nice single malt or small batch bourbon. Sometimes just JD on the rocks is nice as well.

Really getting into gin martinis and just straight on the rocks, though.

My wife enjoys Martinis, while I sip on a glass of port, while enjoying my Saturday night cigars. Saturday is the only night the wife and I can relax and unwind after a hectic week. The cigar bar we frequent makes a mean martini, so the wife loves the place. As long as they carry my port, I'll be happy.

I used to love Bombay Saphire Gin Martinis. A few years back I switched to Tangueray Gin and have never looked back. I like mine stired not shaken with two or three olives. I also like mine wet - with a three to one ratio of gin to vermouth. A sharp chedar cheese and some Jamon Serrano cured ham from Spain. Mouth watering got to go!!

I like single malt scotch, port, dark beer, home made wine & coffee, not much into snack foods, other than kettle fried chips dark & crispy, any root veggie is ok to deep fry , some cheese is good, I'll pass on the pepperoni I watched it being made one time, but I make my own Breakfast & Hot sausage , I know whats in it !
Enjoy, Vince

My smoking companion these days is a non-drinker, so most of the time we drink a nice root beer with our cigars...believe it or not, but I've found that Stewart's Root Beer goes damn well with a good cigar. If I were to smoke with someone who drank, I would most likely do a well aged single malt scotch.

I tend to like a good strong coffee either hot or iced depending on the weather. I have to admit Doc does sound like the guy to hang with. Cool

I usually drink port, bourbon or single malt with my cigar but we are having a bit of a heat wave here so I think this weekend the Stoli is going in the freezer along with the shaker.

After the Stoli is good and cold, fill a large martini glass with cracked ice.
Fill the shaker with cracked ice, pour in the cold vodka and shake 12 times.
Dump the ice from the glass and pour in the vodka.
Stick two large jalapeno, garlic stuffed olives on a toothpick and dip in Vermouth. Place in martini.

Light up a Boli PC and enjoy with Stilton and crackers.

Docbarry, you're the man! A man after my own heart, too. Saturday night is movie and martini night for me, too, though my girlfriend doesn't allow smoking indoors. (I'm working on getting a house with a finished basement -- cross your fingers for me.)

I'm more of a vodka martini man -- I love a mariner's martini with anchovy stuffed olives. The saltiness gets me ready for some good post-martini snacking. I also can't get enough of gorgonzola-stuffed queen olives -- the B&G brand of olives has been excellent lately. Just pop out the pimento and roll in some room-temperature gorg or squirt in some anchovy paste from the tube --- mmmm!

I have a bottle of Tanqueray No. 10 sitting on the bar for about a year, it's probably high time I opened it and had a gin 'tini. Still, I love Bombay Sapphire with just the tiniest spritz of vermouth.

That's living!

I'm a Rum guy personally. I like light and dark rums, lately I've been on a light kick (Bacardi 151 or Superior). For darks I usually go with regualr old Capn. Morgan. Not very fancy but I really like it. I almost always drink on the rocks and occasionally will have a rum&coke (pepsi actually) or a rum&rootbeer. Any other rum drinkers have anything they'd reccomend, light or dark?

I also enjoy a good cup of coffee with my smokes. I like many varieties of coffee as long as they're full-bodied. I'm not really much for snacks while I smoke but on ocassion I'll have some cheese and crackers. The type of cheese and cracker varies with my mood.

Martini's hit the spot. I've taken to having a Scotch (Glenlivit) with my cigar. It's getting colder now in NJ. I like to sit on the deck, light up the Chimenia, have a glass of scotch and a cigar.

For rum, Bacardi 8 is a nice sipping rum.

Rum is also my spirit of choice. I buy Barbancourt 8yr by the case. Jimmy Buffet's favorite. Mix with half a lime and finish off with ginger ale and crushed ice. It's the closest you can come to a mojito without the mint leaves.........
