I'm going to be returning to NYC soon. One of the things I want to do is go to Club Mac. How is the food? I've always heard that the food leaves something to be desired.
If I'm paying $20 for a cigar, it better be "contraband."

Passable when I was there in '05. Basic high-end stuff. I think I had rare tuna and some veggies, etc. If I didn't smoke cigars I'd have never went out of my way to go there. Nothing wrong with it, but given the competition in NYC, nothing special. However, prices were reasonable, service was good, the place looked great and it was a fun place to go. When you combine the whole experience, it's definitely worth your time and support.

No, they dont.
