while in Germany I bought a litre of Bunnahabhain single Islay Malt Scotch Whisky.
All I can say is NASTY!!!! I will stick to beer and Old Forester.

Like all other malts from Islay, Bunnahabhain (pronounced something like bunnahawen) have a very special taste. In my opinion you ought to try it with a few drops of water and a full bodied cigar. Light up the cigar have a few puffs and then taste the drink. I think you'll have quite another experience.

Well sorta, I have since tried it again and it was better than the first glass. I did drink it with a strong cigar maybe this made it taste better. Thank you my friend for the advice.

I find most Islay's overpower a good cigar... you might need quite a bit of water to cut it. I usually add a bit more water to Islays than usual when smoking (compared to the usual spash of water i take whishky with)...I like my Islay's with BBF and perfect wth RyJ Caz for after dinner.
