Thanks for the update, I have been out of town the past few weekends so I have not had the chance yet.

See the first caipirinha I had was in Costa Rica and was a brown (whiskeyish) color so to me thats what it should look like. I like the idea of it not being as sweet so you can taste the cachaca. Will post in a few weeks when I finally try this out.

Very nice drink. A derivative is the caipirosa, which has strawberry or kiwi in it. I still prefer mojitos.
