Hey there,

My buddy is getting married and for his bachelor party I want to take him to some cigar factories. My initial research tells me the Dominican may be a good spot, but wanted to know if any one had any additional input? Thanks in advance for your comments!

Why not take him to Havana. Go to the Partagas factory at Calle Industria 520. You couldn't go wrong with that.

You can not go to the cigar producing reigon of the DR because it is called a Free Trade Zone. The Dominican military will stop you from entering.

In Santo Domingo there was a cigar factory that I visited in 1999.

If you don't want to go that far go to The Cigar Factory in New Orleans. There are also places that roll cigars in Key West.

The Doc is absolutely Correct, may I suggest going to Little Havana for the cigars and South Beach for the party.

I have been to the factory in Key West, its was pretty nice. If your going for a bachelor party the keys are a pretty good place for that also!
