My two brothers and my dad are making a trip to Chicago. I'm just wondering if anyone out there can help me find a good cigar store or just a good place to go have a smoke and a drink. Any help or input would help.
Thanks

The only cigar store I go to is Jack Schwartz, it is under the Board of Trade. Very friendly, awesome selection, good prices. Tax it a bit of a killer though. Only prob is that since it is located in the loop it is not open on weekends which does suck.
Smoke and Drink I recently went to Sullivans steakhouse (on about 500 N. Dearborn I believe) Great steaks and they have a seperate cigar lounge upstairs with 4-5 couch and chair arrangements along with a nice selection of single malts. They have some good cigars there, the markup is about $8-10 per cigar if I recall correct. (I know a VSG torpedo was $20, and opus was overpriced at $45) I thought the setup was just awesome.
Other then that I have heard Ditkas is very cigar friendly and serves more of a bar food type menu. Burgers and whatnot. I have not yet been so I can't tell you more about that.
Thanks for the ideas. Has anyone heard of Marshall McGearty? The only thing I know is that it is a smoking lounge in Chicago. Does anyone know about the selection or quality? Again thanks in advance for the help.

I have not heard of it. www.metromix.com is a good place to check out Chicago restuarants and bars. Here are links to McGearty's, Sullivans and Ditkas. Plus you can look up anywhere else someone recommends.
