Off to Boston in a few weeks and in need of some suggestions on nice cigar bars in downtown. Do any gentleman's club allow cigars? Thanks for any recommendations.

Stanzas di Sigari (north end - boston's little italy)
Churchill's near faneuil hall
Cigar Masters on boylston St.

Stanzas is full bar and full of character (service slow, but its a slow relaxing bar). small but good selection of smokes, Opus X type stuff...better to bring your own smokes. small beer selection, nice single malt and good rum selection. in the basement of Cafe Vittoria, best cappuccino in town. grab a canoli and coffee upstairs first.

Churchill's is beer/wine/port (no hard stuff). not a lot of atmosphere, but plenty of room to stretch out in. and nice big glass windows to people watch. U can usually find good conversation at the bar. bigger selelction of smokes but not that impressive.

Cigar masters...trendy and expensive, but nice to visit if you've never been. i don't go there though. $10 lighting fee if you bring your own smokes. beer/wine/port. very good selections of smokes, and yes, expensive.

sadly..boston is a liberal state and as such love to make laws...no smoking in city. another reason for Stanzas in the northend as there are always older gentlemen smoking cigars out on the benches. people won't tell an 80 year old italian to put out his smoke, and they won't tell you either...but try smoking on the sidewalk in the rest of the city and risk getting red paint thrown on you.

Great observations, you guys hit the nail on the head, I agree 100%. I LOVE the atmosphere in Sigai, it's a fall ritual to go to a Celtics game and start the night off with dinner @ Giacomo's followed by cigars & Scotch @ Sigari. Full, buzzed and smelling of cigars by the time I roll into the Fleet/Garden/New Fleet whatever......

Murphys on tap @ Churchills is nice and yeah Joe's a hot shit

Best time to go to Churchills is Saturday afternoon. Take in some college football while on the other side of the large glass windows, the chaos of the farmer's market plays out. Let the produce fly!

Yes, non-Ital-os wait in line for Giacomos.
Go with my cousin Vinnie Pazzzz.

As I plan to be there next Saturday, kill a couple hours before the Aerosmith show...

I'll be at Churchills around 2:30 or so if anyone is in the neighborhood.

CM's and their lighting fee can bl@w me ...

I'll take Stanza's any day of the week assuming I get one of those comfortable chairs ...

Churchill's is boring, except for a day when the snow is falling ...

Did I say CM's can bl@w me?

Hang on tightly, let go lightly

The trick with Giacomos obviously is getting there early, if I'm gonna eat there I try to make sure I get over there between 5 and 5:30, I know it's early but its the only way you'll get in without waiting for an hour and a half. It works well though when I'm going to C's games because It leaves time to go over and have a cigar & drink @ Stanzi before heading over to the FleetBankNorthTDGardenWhaterver.

If I lived in the North End I would weigh 325 lbs

Thanks everyone for your great advice.
Unfortunately, my meetings ran long and I had trouble meeting up with my friends and thus was unable to make it out to any of these great sounding places. Hopefully next time.
