A great cigar city New Orleans. As you may can tell from my screen name I know a thing or 2 about NOLA. I have a place in the Quarter that my wife and I visit whenever we can.

New Orleans cigar factory on Decatur where you can take a tour and watch the team of rollers at work and buy great cigars. They have a small shop on the 200 block of Bourbon that hand roll and you get personal service. These guys make some great cigars.

One great place to smoke and eat would be Dickie Brennans Steakhouse. One of the best steaks on the planet and you can smoke cigars in the bar. If you go for lunch there is a fillet with pan fried oysters lunch special that is out of this world.

With your buds in tow I would advise a reservation but you can all smoke in style at the bar.

Quarter Savant--

Are you sure about that steakhouse? I thought Louisana's smoking ban forbids smoking in restaurants that admit minors and adjacent bar areas.

You are absolutely correct MRM. The smoking ban in bars went into effect in January. I was at a private party at DB Steakhouse and was able to smoke cigars at that time.(Early September). So it kind of slipped my feeble mind.

New Orleans cigar factory is still cranking them out though.

We smoked out at the Rock and Bowl during Jazz Fest but not sure if we were suppose to or not.

Sorry 'bout dat y'all.......
