Not really, it has been done before, but i can make it at home a lot cheaper than i can buy it.

Without sounding too "street" as Idesign and El Prez would say, I have always been a fan of Alize. They blend passion fruit juice with their cognac and it is like nectar from the gods! But it is waaaaay overpriced.

So go to your local Harry Peeter or whatever grocery store you have and purchase a bottle of passion fruit juice (specialty section) and mix with your fave cognac. Sprizzy likes the Hennessey (again w/o sounding too street). The great thing about the juice is it allows you to mix the cognac at a 1:1 ratio if you want. It's so smooth and very good.

Try it! You shall not not be disappointed (unless you are deathly allergic to passion fruit juice and if so i will send a lovely letter to your bereaved loved ones).

And if someone asks what you are drinking reply that you are drinking a

Passion de Sprizzle

or for those that are truly street,

a Pa-sizzle de Sprizzle fo' Shizzle!

I love how you try to avoid sounding "street" and still refer to yourself as J Sprizzle and Sprizzy Razz

Don't get me wrong. I love cognac straight, too. This is just a nice change of pace for the summer.

Dude, you guys are funny. LOL. Big Grin

Being street is no excuse for drinking stuff like alize. That is just plain sick.

My summer drink is a Mint Julep. Nothing like a Mint Julep at the race track in Saratoga while smoking a good cigar.

When i first turned 19 i tryed to make my own alize cause here in canada its 30$ a botttle. I never had alize befor but being a guy i figured i could probably make it, and probaly make it better than the original. So i spent 20 on a half bottle of st. remy cognac and picked up some passionfruit juice from the grocery store. man i mixed that stuff together and it tasted so awful. Of course i choked it all down in the name of getting drunk.
I guess thats what you get for being cheep!

J sprizzle i got a drink i made up when i was younger, it sounds totaly gross but its actualy quite tasty.
mix 1oz jagermister with a rocks glass of ruby red grapefruit juice. my girlfriend likes it with a drop of grenadine.
definitly not a cigar friendly drink though.

Gotta go with Vinny on this...

I keep the passion and hpnotiq around for the ladies...even a lil fuzzy navel (peachtree schnapps and orange juice).

but my heart lies with 18 year-plus scotches...no ice.
