Do you recall which Balvenie you had?

Have you ever used froogle? www.froogle.com

Froogle is run by Google. If you haven't ever used the site, give it a try! Type in Balvenie scotch whisky and you'll get lots of hits of online liquor stores that carry it. It's a quick/easy way to compare prices!

We like to have a handful of scotches on hand at all times. (My husband is a scotch lover.) We haven't ever had the Balvenie...better put it on the list to try next! I am a fan of Macallan, but tried Laphroaig for the first time and was surprised that I actaully liked it. I thought it would be too peaty for me, but I really enjoyed the smokey flavor.

I'm not sure which Balvenie that I had. I believe I may have had the 12 year though. Thanks for the site suggestion. I'm just in the mood for this as I've had some other good scotch's lately and I would like to get a bottle of this.

Celtic I got your email and I was able to find what I was looking for at a great price too. Thanks so much. The one website you sent me wouldn't deliver to Arkansas....Thank God I am moving away from here soon!

Guys, not to hijack the thread at all,, but just wanted to share my impressions. I'm a sucker for Macallan 12 and a Bolivar RC. I've yet to try any of the Balvenie line, but I may just have to pull the trigger sooner that later.

I find the Balvenie 10 to be a great, well-priced scotch. The double barrel is nice if you want to go a little higher end. The 10 is cheaper than the Macallan 12, though both in my opinion are great.

I had a bottle of Balvinie Doublewood 12-year-old scotch. Not a bad drink.
