Hello Friends,

The wife wants to visit her best friend that lives in NYC over the New Years weekend. I may be tagging along and would love to get together with any fellow CA forum members to enjoy a cigar, drink, and chat.

I am about 95% sure I am going one way or another, but would love to seal the deal. I will probably be looking for some recommendations on great restaurants and the sort.

I see the discussion on lounges above, and I will definitely peruse the forum for more information.

Will you be at Times Square for new years?
I'm pretty sure I will be, might try to spend the night.

My company has an office that overlooks the ball dropping and last year they had a party open to employees and guests. I would assume if thats going on we will be there. If not we may be in the crowds as it will be a first for me. I am unsure, but that was definitely a thought.

We are probably staying downtown in the Time Square area on 12/30 & 12/31. We are waiting to hear back on a NYE event at my works office that is right where the ball drops.

Have never been to NY. Trying to talk the wifey into a long weekend in the big city. Our closest thing to NYC would be Chicago. Lots of fun, but nothing compared to NYC I hear. Have fun!!

I live in the suburbs of Chicago. They are totally different beasts.

We are attending a NYE party sponsored by my employer. The building overlooks Time Square from the 31st floor. I am so excited for this trip. We also have a hotel for the night 6 blocks away. The trip is starting to come together.
