I don't think there's an LCDH in Nasau..

I'm sure some other members can give you the name of a place that is known to be a legit place..

but one thing I can't stress enough is not to buy any CC's from anywhere near where the ships disembark.. they are american tourist traps, filled with counterfit habanos....

You may be able to get some on Paradise Island in the larger hotels, but on Bay St. in Nassau everything and I mean EVERYTHING is counterfeit.

I beg to differ. "Stogies" which is located downtown near the ships dock sells authentic Cuban cigars. Judge for yourself. Ask for Kris

Here is a question. A friend of mine is planning a trip to Nassau about a year from now. Could I get him to pick up a couple of sticks (probably Cohiba's) from a reputable place, and bring them back without problems? He will be on a cruise, and won't board a plane. He could put them in one of his bags, etc. My question is, will they inspect what he brings back?

i guess it depends on the mood of the customs agent that day. they cannot inspect everything in every piece of luggage. Confused even though they would swear up and down that they do.
