I am a bout a 12 handicap when I play well and a 20 when I don't. How many dozen golf balls should I bring? The course looks like target golf.

Depends on the weather! If it is nice and quiet, you may end up with your starting ball, if is windy and raining you could use a couple. Best advice is to take a caddie and LISTEN to him and take the club he gives you!
Scenery is always great though!

That's good advice on the caddy. Always nice to have some local knowledge.
