My family and I would like to spend a week at the end of September on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Just looking for white sands and relax.

Any destination that you may recommend in the North of the West Coast or Panhandle?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Can't lose with Panama City. You might, uh, watch for the winds. I've heard it can be a little windy down there at that time of year. (May be just a rumor) Smile

St. George Island is very nice - in the "bend" of the panhandle. Spent a week there late June. Much less commercial than Panama City. We stayed in the "Plantation", a gated community on the west end of the island. This may not be the best source, but a start anyway. Hope your trip is great wherever you end up.
