Stella Artois is Belgian is it not? If it is, then since it's the only beer I've had from Belgium, then it's my favorite! Big Grin

Work sucks.

Piller, it is belgium Smile...here are some others to look out for. These are all trappist. Which means "are brewed within the walls of the Trappist abbeys" by the monks of belgium. There are only six 6 beers in the world that are brewed by the monks...1.)Chimay 2.)Westmalle
3.)Orval 4.)Westvleteren
5.)Rochefort & 6.)Achel
there is a little red stamp on the bottle that reads "authentic Trappist product" find them if you can...grab your favorite smoke and have at it. You won't be disappointed Wink

Living in Belgium, these are all on my doorstep. I drive through Westmalle every day to and from work. On Friday's in the summer, I drop in for a beer or two just to start the weekend off.

Belgian beer and legal Cuban cigars - a good life.

Duvel, has a lot of head. It's sometimes not a pleasure to drink.

Chimay and Corsendonk are my favorites.

Hoegaarden is yummy. I also like the Trappist beers. Does anyone else drink La Trappe? Its the only Trappist beer brewed outside of Belgium (its Dutch, of all things). Unibroue in Canada also makes some super abbey ales. They supposedly consulted with some Trappist monks and were given yeast cultures from one of the monasteries (I have no idea if that's true or not).
